Around 46.5 trillion light years from the furthest reaches of the universe and 75,000 light years from the edge of the Milky Way, holds a miniscule planet. A single planet out of a septillion of planets. This planet is no ordinary speck of dust, it’s the only matter known to hold lifeforms right down to the single amoeba.

Image precision and balance needed to support life here?. A little too close to the sun? roasted. A little too far out? death by starvation and hypothermia. And yet an existential crisis is born out of a sock that vanishes during the ritual of unloading the washing machine. So small, so insignificant that it doesn’t even register on the emptiness of space. Somehow, it still matters to you.

Meanwhile, the time keeps ticking on. As it always has.
